Joshua Click, a millionaire at age 28, started his career as a junior high school teacher while dabbling in real estate in his free time. He started investing at age 21 by purchasing tax deeds, reselling the properties, and reinvesting the profits into the next property. As the investments grew, he realized the potential that real estate offers and obtained his real estate license. Two days after putting in his notice at the junior high that he would not be renewing his teaching contract, he found out he and his wife, Emily, were expecting their first child. With this kick in the pants, Joshua started his real estate career full time in sales and quickly adopted the real estate investor mentality. Since that time, his real estate holdings have grown to include single family, multi-family, commercial, land, and short term rentals. He attributes much of his success to creative structuring of deals, partnering with other investors, and continued education.
